St. Timothy is a Christian community made up of all ages, economic means, ethnic groups and faith backgrounds. Consequently, we are blessed by God with a rich mixture of gifts and talents for doing God’s work locally and globally. In the little over 50 years that we have been serving Norfolk, Virginia Beach and the surrounding area, we have touched the lives of thousands of people – here and abroad.

Some of the hallmarks of St. Timothy are:

• We believe all people are gifted by God with certain talents and abilities for use in the building up of God’s kingdom.

   

• We believe a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is life transforming!

   

• We believe Jesus is true to his promise and that he is among us every week as we gather to worship and share in his Holy Supper.

   

• And we believe it is God’s desire and plan that all people will come to know God through the transforming power of a personal relationship with God’s son, Jesus Christ.

We at St. Timothy, through our various ministries such as worship, Christian education, hospitality, and outreach, want to enable individuals to build that personal relationship with Christ and to equip them to use their God given talents in the service of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
