Try, Try Again
by Pastor @ St. Timothy ~ June 11th, 2009
After the last 48 hours, I was beginning to wonder if perhaps God did not want me to write a “Pastor’s Blog.” Yesterday morning I sat down and wrote a quick paragraph, with the hopes and the intent that it would keep up any reader attention we might have and to let everyone know I intended to come back and write more in the evening. Well, in my haste to get out the door, I apparently “did something wrong,” and yesterday’s post got lost in Never-Never Land. Then last night when I say down to write, I could not get on the site. Actually I could not get on any site! My internet connection was running slower than molasses. So nothing got posted last night either. Perhaps you can imagine my frustration when I logged on this morning and the internet connection was still not working right. Long story short (but maybe not), I turned off the router and modem for the standard “30 seconds” and upon powering them back up got fast, responsive internet services as usual. (Although I forget to do it, I was told by some internet service support people, while working on the system at the church, that it is a good preventive maintenance step to power down both the router and the modem on a regular – say once a month – basis.)
OK, so that is the “internet maintenance” tip of the month, brought to you by your local friendly ELCA church. God willing, I will be back later today with a post as promised on Monday. Until then, blessings to you all.

That’s the magic of the Internet. You sometimes don’t know what happens and why, but we love it anyway!
